Banks and “Kicks” (Standard Play) – “Master” Clinic

Dates: Per Agreement Venue: Private Setting – 1 - 2 Tables (Any Size)
Clinic Start Time: Per Agreement Recommended # of Students: 2 Min./8 Max.

NOTE: EACH “MASTER” CLINIC CONFIRMED WILL BE 12 HOURS IN LENGTH…PRESENTED
IN FOUR 3-HOUR SESSIONS OVER 2 DAYS.

CLINIC HIGHLIGHTS:

“Golden Nugget” of Instruction for Mechanical Approach:

Straight Alignment + Straight Stroke = Shot Success

Straight Alignment = Proper aim, plus proper body/cue position in relation to aim

Straight Stroke = Proper muscle memory movement of hand/wrist/lower arm in relation
to upper arm/shoulder, plus “burning focus” during final stroke.

NOTE: Assumption that obvious game mechanics are “glitch free”!!

Travel lines: 1) Object ball to pocket, 2) Cue ball to target aim area of object ball, and 3) Cue stick to cue ball with proper English application – most important

A. Diagnosis/Analysis Options to your personal game:

1) Qualified instructor addressing specific need(s) – Interactive Trust Mode
2) Friend, teammate, playing partner, etc. – Interactive Trust Mode
3) Video – “Revealed and Verified” – “In The Past” Mode
4) Mirror – “Self Examination” – Real Time – “In The Present” Mode

ALIGNMENT SYSTEM (Prestance/Downstance):

Aiming Analysis: Observed Results _________________ Method ____________

LEARN THE EASIEST AND MOST EFFICIENT WAY TO ANALYZE YOUR ALIGNMENT SYSTEM!

THIS SPECIAL BOX IS GUARANTEED TO IMPROVE YOUR PRESHOT ROUTINE AND RHYTHM!

#Shots: ___ Chalking Times: ___ Chalking Quantity %: ___________ Goal %: ______
Chalking “Glitches”: ____ Non-chalking “Glitches”: ______ Total “Glitches”: _________
Quality of Alignment: Inefficiency Percentage ______ Efficiency Percentage _______

B. Corrective Remedy/Prescription to your personal game:

1) Mirror Training – “x” number of minutes per day for “x” number of days
2) Stroke “Barrier” Training – “x” number of strokes/minutes per day for “x” number of days

Special Training: Use mirror training and “barrier” training in a bonded tool to growth. In addition, reference “Triple-check” Alignment Procedure as often as possible…to maintain awareness of “how to approach each shot…with “chalking” consistency and “interlude” security.

Note: After initial “correction”, apply every 100 games, 100 miles, or during the onset of “slump mode” periods, whichever comes first. This will “fine tune” your game and remove “glitches” that one might revert back to…due to prolonged “muscle/mental memories” conditioned from earlier years of programming. Application to corrective techniques depends on personal dedication and desire to take your game to the next level and beyond…via allowable times for regimitized practice.

TRIPLE CHECK ALIGNMENT PROCESS:

1) MENTAL PRESTANCE ALIGNMENT* – While chalking behind shot, visualize object ball travel line to pocket…or the desired position of object ball on table…if playing a defensive shot, cue ball travel line (proper aim) to object ball, and travel line of cue stick to cue ball at proper tip placement for English application. NOTE: The latter travel line should connect with the cue ball travel line and should be perfectly straight to each other in one’s mind, thus creating the principle that 99% of all shots in billiards are “straight” shots. In addition, one should visualize cue ball position, mentally “feel” the speed of the shot, mentally “hear” the click of cue ball and object ball and subsequent drop/make of object ball…if that is your objective, plus a mental “implant” of yourself in the picture. This should all be done while back from the table a minimum of 3 feet.

2) PHYSICAL RECHECK ALIGNMENT – Place chalk on table (well side up), or in special holder…if you use one. Step back again and physically place cue stick on rail top (on top of visualized cue stick travel line, which was done in step 1). You may also hold cue in front of you over cue stick travel line and cue ball travel line connected visually. This “rechecks” your step 1 mental imagery.

3) VERIFICATION DOWNSTANCE ALIGNMENT – Step into your downstance position, coordinated precisely to the travel lines analyzed above. You may have to do a slight “wiggle” in your positioning for balance. This is done with your “rear” foot in a parallel movement only…in relation to your cue stick…and never perpendicular to it. Balance will be achieved and alignment will be maintained. In this position “verify” in your mind that step 1 and step 2 above were done correctly. If your practice regimen includes shooting the ball, prepare your downstance rhythm strokes, focus with your “left brain” on a visual point, and stroke with your programmed “right brain” throwing motion. If your regimen is designed to correct another “glitch” in stroke, etc., proceed accordingly.

*SPECIAL NOTE: PROFESSIONAL CHALKING “QUANTITY” PERCENTAGE IS ESSENTIAL TO ACHIEVE MAXIMUM ALIGNMENT RESULTS. PART OF YOUR PRESCRIPTION MAY INCLUDE SOME TRAINING IN THIS CRITICAL AREA.

“Golden Nugget” of Instruction for Mathematical Approach:

Pure Mechanics + Pure Mathematics = Pure Result

1/8 of an inch and reduce speed approximately 20%

3) Frozen cushion bank #1 – Determine “double kiss” probability before shooting shot via the
cue ball 2 ball distance gauge. Proceed with calculation of a, b, c, and d from #1 above –
Overcut object ball approximately ¼ of an inch, use low inside English, and use fast speed

4) Frozen cushion bank #2 (Spin banks) – Check 2 ball distance gauge. Hit half ball on object
ball and spin cue ball with outside English. Feel bank, but easy to acquire skill for.

J. SPECIAL “LOCK IN” SYSTEM

Shoot without looking at object ball or cue ball – “Burning Focus” with left brain and
“Sneak Attack” with right brain – “Free Flight” motion of cue stick

SPECIAL NOTE: “Dr. Cue’s”® method of teaching for his clinics includes a personal point-by-point presentation of the session outline. Those in attendance may ask any question on the topics covered. There is “limited” time allowance during the clinic for students at the table; however, “Dr. Cue”® may ask for volunteers on occasion to demonstrate or try an outline point.

“MASTER” CLINIC COST: $1200.00 (shared), plus applicable costs for travel and lodging

AWARD NOTE: Each student will be presented with a special “certificate of completion”!!
